This section is outlined by Crenshaw Blvd., West 190th street, Western Avenue, and Redondo Beach Blvd. This section of North Torrance has two elementary schools, one middle school and is next to the section that has North Torrance High. El Camino Junior College is very close to this section as well, a fantastic school that is always updating and remodeling. Along with the school fields there are three community parks located in this section. The southernmost park is La Carretera Park, then off of Western Ave and West 178th Street is Guenser Park and finally we have Descanso Park off of Casimir Avenue and Artesia Blvd. This section has a large mix of homes, apartments, condos and commercial of all kinds. There is close freeway access, great schools and many quiet neighborhood streets to reside on.
