The southernmost street that borders Barton Hill is West 9th Street, South Gaffey Street is the western border street until it reaches the 110 Freeway then meets back onto Gaffey until the 5-way signal. The Northern boundary follows along West Anaheim Street then goes south at Road 3 in the industrial zone. Zigging and zagging through the Harbor splitting part of it with San Pedro and the other sections with Wilmington. Barton Hill has many homes south of the 47 Highway, also known as Terminal Island Bridge or The Seaside Highway. Many homes in this area were built in the early 1900’s, creating a unique neighborhood atmosphere.
