One of the quainter communities in Torrance, the borders of this area are south of Pacific Coast Highway, east of Anza Avenue, North of Newton Street then around Via Valmonte and west from Skyline Mobile Home Park which is in the Walteria Section as well. The southern boarder follows along the Saddlehorn Loop Trail, behind the community south of Rolling Hills Road and along the southern section of the large dirt lot known to the locals as “The Pit”. Walteria has mainly single-family homes with a little mix of apartments, condominiums and townhomes. Walteria has three public parks; Walteria Park and Library located near Ocean Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway, De Portola Park off of Rolling Hills Road near Crenshaw Blvd. and Alta Loma Park on the South-Eastern end of the Walteria Section. There are three sub-sections in Walteria, the first one is known as Walteria, Country Hills and Hillside.
