Being the only gated community in Manhattan Beach the 400 homes located in this area are very private and secluded. Located north of Maine Ave., East of Sepulveda Blvd., south of Rosecrans Ave. and east of Aviation Blvd. it is the most North-East section of Manhattan Beach. This section has an HOA that oversees the housing and locale. The community amenities include community pools, spas, private security guard patrols and a plethora of greenbelts and open spaces between some homes. There is a beautiful golf course adjacent which is not a part of the HOA but still accessible to residents.
There are three types of homes in the Village; The Court Homes, The Estate Homes and The Town Homes. The Court Homes are attached condo style homes that range from 1,400 – 2,000 sq/ft with 2 – 3 bedrooms. They are situated so that each court incorporates a central landscape courtyard with the homes looking out over the beautiful greenbelts. The Estate Homes are on the western edge of The Village and are generally larger Single-Family Residence that have between 3 and 5 bedrooms and square footage between 2,000 and 3,000. These homes usually have private backyards and/or patio areas. Lastly, the Town Homes are side-by-side units that vary between 1,400 and 2,000 sq/ft. Majority of these homes have greenbelt or golf course views. They are equipped with large private patios with some being single level. These tend to be the most sought after of the three.
There are a few private entries but one of the more known is on the western end with simple access to the Manhattan Village Mall and Shopping Center. The Manhattan Village Mall and shopping center offer a grocery store, drug store, boutique shops, restaurants and banks. While the small neighborhood mall is home to Macy’s, Pottery Barn and William Sonoma. The resident’s children of The Village attend Meadows Elementary, Manhattan Beach Middle School and Mira Costa High School.
