Following the well-known street South Gaffey Street from West 9th Street which is our northern board, down to West 25th Street we have half of our boundaries for this amazing neighborhood. If you follow West 25th Street to South Western Avenue that is the southern and western boundaries. Where Western and Weymouth connect is the northern most point of Vista Del Oro. Weymouth to 9th Street tops off this area. One of Vista Del Oro’s prized gems is Averill Park, located off of Western on South Dodson Avenue, 13th Street and South Weymouth Avenue. Alma Park is located off of West 21st Street and South Meyler Street. The schools that service this area are Leland Street Elementary School, Seventh Street Elementary School, Cabrillo Avenue Elementary School, Dana Middle School and San Pedro High School.
