South from the well-known Palos Verdes Golf Club, east from area 162 Monte Malaga and North of area 174 Crestrests the Silver Spur area. Grandview Park is located in the North-West corner of the area. The homes located in this area are a bit different than the sister areas. Silver Spur homes do not have the views but in turn they have larger yards and a traditional neighborhood feeling. Many homes average three to four bedrooms and were built in the 1950’s and early 60’s. A perk to the Silver Spur area is the locale, a close distance to schools, shopping, food and main routes up and down the hill via Hawthorne and Silver Spur Road to Palos Verdes Drive North which lets out in South Redondo by the coast.
