The southern border of the Famous Venice is Washington Blvd., the east border is Walgrove Avenue, Northern border is Dewey Street and of course the Pacific as the western edge. There are three elementary schools in Venice; Coeur d’Alene Avenue, Westminster Avenue and Broadway Elementary Schools. Venice has middle schools close by in other sections Mark Twain Middle School and John Adams Middle School. Venice has one public high school, known as Venice High School and this is located on Venice Blvd. and Walgrove Avenue. Fun fact about Venice, it was founded by a Tobacco Millionaire name Abbot Kinney in 1905 and was originally a Beach Resort Town. Venice has many fantastic neighborhoods throughout, there is a majority of Single Family homes with a mix of apartments and multi family dwellings. You cannot forget the Costco on Washington Blvd and Lincoln Blvd. next to the In-N-Out Burger.
