This section is directly North of Southwood, it is also about twice the size! With Hawthorne as the eastern border, just a little east of North Prospect Ave. as the western border. Torrance Blvd is the southern border street and West 190th Street is the northern border. West High School is almost centrally located off of Del Amo Blvd., Victor Elementary School off of Anza Ave on Spencer Street. Bert M. Lynn Middle school is across Del Amo Blvd from West High School. There are many parks in West Torrance, Entradero Park which is also home to West Torrance Little League, La Romeria Park which has a tennis and basketball court, Victory Park located next to Victor Elementary and finally Sunnyglen Park off of Del Amo Blvd on the west side of this area. There are mainly Single-Family homes in this section but on Anza Ave, south of Del Amo Blvd and north of Torrance Blvd. are mainly Apartments. Little Company of Mary is one of the best medical groups and is located off of Torrance Blvd and Hawthrone. They have many locations throughout Torrance but this is their main Hospital facilities.
