Old Torrance

While half of this area is Industrial and Commercial buildings the lower half is mostly residential with some Commercial along Western Avenue. The borders of this sections are South of 190th Street, west of Western Avenue, East of Crenshaw Blvd. and North of Sepulveda Blvd. Old Torrance is home to Torrance High School, Torrance Elementary and Nativity Catholic School. There is a gem of the South Bay that is in this sections, Wilson Park. Charles H. Wilson Park is the home of Torrance’s Farmer’s Market, Sports Center Building, Baseball/Softball fields, Roller Hockey rink, Batting Cages, Turf Soccer, Tennis Courts, Basketball Courts, walking trails and picnic areas. There is also Torrance Park, El Prado Park and Torrance Little League to enjoy in this area of Torrance.
