Out of all the South Bay cities Hermosa Beach is the smallest, only 40 blocks top to bottom and 15 blocks wide. Hermosa is known for its’ pier and all that it holds, the first pier was built in 1904. Many homeowners in Hermosa Beach enjoy the Fiesta Hermosa, and an annual street fair that takes place on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends. Hermosa Beach is host to many beach events like the International Surf Festival and The U.S.A. Volleyball HP National Championships. Also, like many locals cities they have their own Farmer’s Market that is a must to visit!
